CDN ePOD App delivers 7.6% of all US new vehicle deliveries
One year after CDN's June 2014 release of vinDELIVER in Android and Apple devices, the leading automotive logistics mobile app for the delivery of finished vehicles has be used to deliver 114,137 vehicles in June 2015.
Wayne Pollock, co-founder of CDN commented: "We see this growth continuing as US road carriers large and small continue their roll-out of the vinDELIVER to their drivers".
Led by Chrysler (FCA), the first OEM to mandate Carriers to use electronic proof of delivery or ePOD technology by July 2104 in order to capture vehicle condition and delivery reporting. Pollock added, 'our rapid growth [of vinDELIVER] can be simply put down to the low cost, quality mobile app which can be quickly connected to a carrier's existing transport or logistics system and deployed to a driver via a simple download from the Google or Apple stores. In addition any sub-contractors are also fully ePOD compliant to AIAG e21 standards, meeting the OEMs requirement for ePOD data.
