MCAC commences roll-out of CDN's vinDELIVER app
After a successful ‘pilot’ over the last 4 months, Motor Car Auto Carriers (MCAC) has completed testing of the CDN vinDELIVER mobile application for Chrysler's ePOD readiness program. MCAC expects their roll out of vinDELIVER to be completed by April 30th, 2014.
MCAC gains full integration with their existing Transport Management System supplied by ATAdvantage's ATLinks. Further, by using CDN’s vinDELIVER app, MCAC has automatically connected to Chrysler’s damage claims system called VTS, provided by Fenkell Automotive.
MCAC manages regional distribution for Chrysler at the Cottage Grove MN Rail Ramp. Patrick Newell, Senior VP Logistics for MCAC said ”we are looking beyond Chrysler's ePOD readiness program. We expect improved operational efficiencies with increased data transmission accuracy and driver communication. We also expect customer service levels to improve with real-time information. Given our steady business growth, we believe the collection of real-time data in the field for our customers will differentiate MCAC and help us secure more business.”
Greg May, President and CEO of Car Delivery Network Inc. commented, “we welcome Motor Car Auto Carriers into our family of vinDELIVER Customers and we look forward to working together and helping Motor Car Auto Carriers achieve their business goals.”
